where can I buy floche

I have been reading and watching some heirloom work and the teacher mentioned floche as apposed to floss for some types of embroidery work,

I found a site that explained the difference, but not where to buy it and since I have never heard of it before, I have been studying my catalogs to find it with no luck,,,,is it even available here iin the states, or is this something from overseas?
