What fabric is this?

I have this fabric on a roll and I need to know what it is called and what it is usually used for !

Jules, if that is an inch tape measure, then that looks like a 3 hole to the inch canvas. It could be designed for stitching rugs, or alternatively for children to stitch on. If the latter, it may be a form of Binca.

Maybe someone else will be able to help us out a little more here?
