using Aida instead of 32 count linen

I cant cross stitch on linen, so can i swap 32 count linen for 16 count aida?

For most designs that would be fine, Maddie. The design would end up the same size when stitched.

However, if the design has any petit point work in it, where the stitches are worked over 1 linen thread, it could prove difficult.

Also it is best to choose a design that does not use many fractional stitches as you would have to pierce the Aida block in order to do them - not easy on a fine Aida such as 16 count.
