Twilling Stitch

Years ago a cousin taught me how to embroider a pillow top using what she called the twilling stitch. I completed the pillow. Now about 20 years later I would like to incorporate the twilling stitch in a crazy quilt, but low and behold, I have forgotten how to do it. I've done some research and found a stitch called the palestrina stitch. Can you tell me if that is also the twilling stitch?

Yes, all the references I have found show it as another name for Palestrina stitch.
