trying to copy an older sampler

by Laura
(Florida)

I am trying to replicate a home sweet home sampler I made 30 years ago. I believe it is on linen and it had the pattern already on it. And so, I am trying to find the right fabric to buy. I actually did buy a pre cut peice today that looks right but it is not big enough. So, 2 questions:

How do I make the pattern from the finished sampler I have?

Best way to purchase/find the right linen?

Joann's Fabric only had the precut peices of Evenweave and the regular fabric linen doesn't seem right.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much.

Laura, don't know if you have found your large piece of linen fabric yet. I am late with reading all my mail. If you have not found a source yet, try visiting 'nordicneedle.com. I am sure you will have an easier time, with finding what you need there.( I have no connection with this company,in making a profit, or whatever words are used to protect myself here, I just know that whenever I need something different, from what I can't find in a regular stitching store), I go there).

Good luck.
Phyllis
