Pearl
I enclose a picture of Pearl stitched in black grey and gold . She's only just finished and I haven't yet had time to iron her or get her framed.
Now I've finished her I can't wait to get started on her companion Coral so I can display the two together.
I was delighted with the large clear, easy to read chart and particularly pleased that I didn't have enlarge it to be able to stitch in artificial light where my eyesight isn't too good.
Each colour was shown in different colour on the chart which was a nice touch.
The fabric provided in the kit had a generous selvage and I had loads of thread left over and I even got on well with my first attempt at using metallic thread.
This was my first attempt at blackwork too but thanks to your excellent instructions it wasn't difficult and I will be doing lots more.
I've really enjoyed stitching this design.
