I have called it Patchwork Flora, and I think it would make a wonderful pincushion. Each quarter contains a new blackwork fill pattern, representing the seasons of the year. We have tulips for Spring, Roses for Summer, autumn leaves for the Fall and Fir branches for the winter. Each quadrant has a matching border, which you could use for all sorts of other items too.
