mirror work embroidery supplies

When I was a child, my uncle lived in Pakistan and he sent my sister and I each wonderful traditional vests with mirror work on them.

Recently, I unearthed them and wanted to display them in my home. I started by taking them to the dry cleaner. They requested that I remove the mirrors. Since they were in little frames- one vest has metal frames and the other has plastic frames, I did. Unfortunatly, one of the frames disintegrated in my hands.

I have been to Pakistan in the 80's and I know that they make the frames for mirror work, I just do not have a source in Pakistan to get any more the frames. Do you have any suggestions?

I have done mirror work before and will again, I wanted to keep the vests as close to original as possible. Thank you for any suggestion you can provide.
