I brought out our Christmas stockings this year and they all had mildew on them.
Two of them I made myself and one my grandmother made for me when I was a little girl, so I really want to restore them. I took them to the cleaners and they said they couldn't do it and I should just put them in the washing machine!!!! Can you believe it?
I'm glad I didn't leave them there after all, because they obviously don't know what they're doing. So...anybody have any suggestions?
