I bought an Anchor counted cross stitch when I was in Scotland this summer and the symbol key page has this: SYMBOL CODE = ANCHOR# LENGTHS KNOTS COLOR @ E6149 1 10 2 WHITE + E6008 146 7 3 DARK BLUECan you tell me what the "Knots" means? They are 1, 2 and 3. Does it mean how many threads you use?

Comment Katie, I'm afraid I haven't stitched any Anchor kits so am unsure of the answer to this question. There are two thoughts in my head as to what it could mean. 1. It tells you there are 10 lengths of white, are they tied in two hanks? 2. Are they referring to the number of French knots in the design to be worked in that colour? I am throwing this question out to all visitors, maybe someone who has stitched Anchor kits can help Katie?
