how to mount hardanger as a picture

I have a beautiful 31 by 31 inch hardanger tablecloth with scalloped edges, which I would like to mount as a picture on the wall.

What is the best way to do it? How can the fabric be attached to the back? As it has no surrounding waste fabric, like needlepoint work would, I am not sure how to go about it.

Do you have any suggestions?

Mounting Needlework
by: Colleen

Try to find a framer that has experience in mounting needlework. It is not cheap but if you really treasure the needlework then it is worth it. I think they can mount the piece on a mat in the color of your choice. Kind of like a shadow box. This way you can see the nice edges of your piece. Good Luck.
