how to do square filet in Lesson 1

Help, my square filets are not working!

I'm working my way through these lessons (thank you!) and am having trouble with the square filets in Lesson 1. I can't find detailed instructions or video anywhere on the web for how to do these. The first time I do these new stitches it really helps to have specific "put needle from here to there" instructions. It would be really great if you could explain this technique to me :)

Lisa, Thank you for the idea for my next video. ☺ I will prepare a piece of hardanger and then show you on video how to do the square filets. It may not be for a couple of days though, if that is OK?
