Border stitching

I just finished a crossed stitch bookmark and don't want to use the cardboard binding. I would like to stitch a border and create a tassel. Any suggestions?

Italian hem stitch

I am working with some Monks cloth.I have finished the blanket but i would like to know how to do the Italian hem stitch or one that would be very pretty for the edging.

I would need diagram like you have on your web page.

If you could give me the right instructions i would be forever grateful.
