Dimensions of floor stand

Hi, After reading the section on floor stands, I am interested in getting one but I do not understand how the dimensions work.

I have a HAED Night Moves chart, which is a horizontal rectangle type design, which will be 18 inches by 9 inches when sewn on 25 count fabric. The F.A. Edmunds Stitchers Wonder Rotating Scroll Frame on Stand has a dimension 9" x 24" Split Rail Scroll Frame. What is a split rail scroll frame? Will my design fit on this stand?
