I want to make a cutwork tablecloth by hand, but can't find a place to buy the materials needed. Does anyone know of a place to purchase supplies for this from?
As I live in New Zealand, making phone calls is a real expensive option. Nordic Needles web site says lots about hardanger, which I do lots of but it is not what I'm seeking at this time.
Again the American site makes not reference to what I'm seeking.
Thank you for answering my query. Any other ideas very welcome.

cut work by: Anonymous
I, too, would love to try some cut work again after many years. Finding patterns has been the hardest part for me, then I guess I still have to find a fabric as what I did in the past was ready traced onto linen. (Yes I really am that old !)

Those are good places for fibers, perle coton etc. but what kind of fabric would one use?
Linen? Cotton...if so what type? Any answers would be helpful

The hard part would be the pattern, depending on what you want to do. I haven't found any to my liking, among the few patterns which are available now.

Cutwork Tablecloth supplies by: Valerie Kalyani
There are many online needlework suppliers who can help you. My first choice for cutwork supplies would be The Nordic Needle (www.nordicneedle.com). They are very helpful and if you call them they are great to deal with over the phone.
You can also try Needle in a Haystack www.needlestack.com . I have made many purchases from both of these and they are reliable and prompt.
