Change from 14 count to 25 count canvas

Thank you for letting me ask some questions. I do not do cross stitch. I am left handed. I stitch left to right with a conventional stitch.

What I need to know. I am changing from a 14 count canvas to a 25 count canvas. What do I use to hold the fabric. This is the information on what I have:

DMC needlework fabric. Evenweave Unifil, 25ct/inch-10/cm, 14"x 18"
35 x 45 cm. This is all the information on the label.

I have DMC tapestry needles size 26, is this correct?

How many strands of yarn do I use on this canvas?

Is there a way to copy a picture onto the canvas ?
