Blackwork Coasters

After admiring a friends work, I found a free design Blackwork Coasters and using a scrap of fabric and some thread from my stash I jumped right in. :) I found the chart to be easy to read and enjoyed the stitching process. I finished the four (4) pieces in clear acrylic coasters and gave them to my mother (after entering them in the County Fair where I won a blue ribbon).

I have purchased Carol's book "Blackwork Step-by-Step" and I'm looking forward to stitching more of her work soon.
